A Flexible Showroom

Avoid Obvious provided architectural design for mahna mahna, a fashion company specializing in renting high-end clothes, shoes, and accessories to stylists and celebrities. They carry over 100,000 items in 10 showrooms around the world. Their Soho location is their first showroom in North America. Avoid Obvious designed and curated all furniture to allowed for flexible usage, including daily rental, VIP visit, photo-shooting, temporary storage and party event. In a 1,000 sq ft showroom, we designed and built 7 sets of flexible furniture that allow multiple functions and expansion over time.
