Dancing Map

We were commissioned by Indiewalls to create a 30′ wide drawing for the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago. The theme of the hotel is related to urban living in Chicago and their elevated train, known as the “L” system. The hotel will also introduce a play that use different part of the hotel as their stage. To combine Chicago’s train and dancing together, we created Dancing Map. It is a informational map that dances in 3d and its movement is captured by stop motion.
